Preparing your home or job site for wood floor refinishing
Old floor coverings must be completely removed (This includes Tack Strips).
Rooms must be clear of furniture, appliances, tools and other building supplies. Floors must be clean and ready for refinishing of wood. This INCLUDES carpet, Padding and other floor coverings.
Plastic sheeting is recommended for doorways to prevent a majority of the dust from the leaving the work area. Harris Custom Wood Floors is NOT responsible for clean-up of the house.
Matching old floors with patches may not be an exact match.
Some stains such as water/pet may not sand out.

Half of the payment is due upon being scheduled and the balance is due upon completion.

During the cold season, homes must have heat to maintain proper climate.
Trim and doors must be taken off prior to installation.
